Membership Team Seeking Mentors and Coaches

Dear Artisans,

Happy New Year to all!

The membership team is starting fresh. Our team members are Laurie Elsea and Joe Steele.

As we begin this new year, we are enlisting your help to make our new members feel welcome and ease their transition as Artisans.

We have a list of mentors and SKU coaches from years past. Some have already volunteered to work with 3 new members starting this month. They are Su Peyton, Carol Szot, and Nancy Adelis for future members.

The role of a mentor is to answer general questions throughout the year. A mentor may offer pricing suggestions, explain how the retail events work, give tips on how to set up attractive displays at events, aid in understanding the organization and its procedures and policies, very general information. Ideally the mentor might be someone who shares the same art form. Mentors are assigned at jury time. Please consider offering your experience to a new member, you have so much to share. Let one of us in membership know if you are interested.

We have a group of 5 SKU coaches and would like to increase that number. Our website has a wonderful step by step instructional. If you have been submitting you own SKU requests then you can walk someone through that process too. We really need your help as we increase our membership. Again, let one of us from membership know if you can assist our new members.
